We present SickNight’s 2011 top party schools list. This party school list is the work of months of partying and research. People will never realize how hard it is to separate the schools on this list, really this list should just be a collection of all the party schools around the nation, but no one wants to read that!
We’ve seen other list floating around online, but we felt those lists were cheating everyone reading them, since they included so many factors that we’re relevant to partying your ass off. We went around grading on fun factor and quantity to do so.
Obviously so many factors go into a list like this, like the people we partied with, the Frats, the events, the time of year etc. So don’t shoot us if you disagree, comment below and state your case!
University of Georgia – Athens, GA:
This is the best party school in the nation. UGA has it all, Great greek life, Excellent downtown bar scene, Largest outdoor tailgate party in America, amazing town, beautiful women, and great people. We’ve been here multiple times, and everytime is leads to some of the most fun we’ve ever had on any campus.
Crazy stuff goes down here. We once saw a huge girl fight with punches and kicks flying, that eventually lead to the same girls making out on the street. This party school is winning, and Charlie Sheen would agree.
University of Texas – Austin, TX :
The largest University in the nation, and easily could be argued to be the best party school in the nation. Their downtown bar scene (6th street) is the stuff of legend and is considered the live music capitol of America. This is another party school that has it all, from the atmosphere, food, game days, people and fun factor. You can’t go wrong in Austin.
University of Wisconsin – Madison, WI :
According to a study, Madison, Wisconsin has the most bars per capita in the nation. This speaks volumes on the local university. This party school is full of eaters and drinkers. In the winter, there isn’t much else to do but drink. It has a great atmosphere and we love this town.
Pennsylvania State University – State College, PA :
One of the best campus cultures in the whole country. From their game days to their parties, this party school throws down. The students at this school were the quickest to show us around. After years of top party school lists neglect, they earn their place on this list.
West Virginia University – Morgantown, WV :
They get drunk and wild, and burn couches. This party school is insane and some of the craziest things we’ve ever seen in our life happen here. The only drawback is some of it was too crazy, enough to ruin a buzz.
Arizona State University – Tempe, AZ :
Hottest women in the nation, and amazing bar scene. This school has a party reputation for a reason. Only drawback is that the Greek life wasn’t really up to par with Arizona.
University of Florida – Gainesville, FL :
Obviously being below UGA on this list will piss off alot of the gator faithful, but we’re not bias or in party denial like you! This school is still an amazing time in a great town full of fun places, also has an amazing school culture.
University of California – Santa Barbara, CA :
The beach parties and drinking culture at this party school can’t be matched. If this is all you like to do then this could easily be the best party school in the nation, but we decided to rank it a little lower on the list because their basic parties weren’t as epic as others we’ve been to.
University of Tennessee – Knoxville, TN :
This party school might have the best culture in the country, from the songs, chants, and traditions. This schools can sometimes over do it, which has led to it having a rep as people passing out on the street after partying all night.
Florida State University – Tallahassee, FL :
Super hot women, and great weather/location. We always have a blast here and this party school makes the list on pure fun factor.
Could easily have made this top 10 party school list:
University of Alabama – Tuscaloosa, AL: Game days, and country women. Wild stories.
University of Arizona – Tucson, Arizona : The greek life at Arizona destroys ASU, but we had to give the edge to ASU on overall fun factor
Ohio State University – Columbus, OH : If we didn’t feel so unsafe in the city, we’d rank this party school higher.
University of Colorado at Boulder – Boulder, CO :
Don’t get us wrong, This is a great party school, but we feel it’s overrated just because of the Marijuana factor. Smoking Weed doesn’t lead to insane partying, it leads to mellow nights. How can this be the number one party school in America? Sorry, but you’re wrong Playboy.
East Carolina University – Greenville, NC :
Might be the most underrated party school in the country. This school knows how to party. They’re halloween celebration closes downtown Greenville down, and can be compared to a poor man’s Mardi Gras.
University of Central Florida – Orlando, FL :
Second largest university in the nation, so the sheer amount of people partying is insane.
